We've been trying to reduce our meat consumption a bit, and Halloumi's a good way to do that, rather than a 3 quid tub of chicken you need a 1 quid block of cheese
This makes a quick and lazy halloumi and veg korma - the Co-op does a good stir in sauce

Ingredients
- 225g Halloumi
- 1 Onion
- 1 Green Pepper
- 1 pack fine beans
- 1 jar Korma sauce
- Olive Oil
Method
- De-seed and chop the pepper
- Cur the ends off the green beans
- Peel and chop the onion
- Set all to one side
- Drain the halloumi and cut into thick slices
- Cut those slices into quarters
- Put some olive oil in a frying pan and place over a high heat
- Fry the halloumi until it turns golden in colour (a few mins)
- Remove the halloumi from the pan and set to one side
- Put the onion in the pan and fry until soft
- Add the pepper and the green beans
- Stir fry until the beans have gone from dark green to light green
- Reduce to medium heat and stir in the korma sauce
- Mix the halloumi back in
- Stir continuosly and cook for another 5 mins
- Serve with rice
