This lamb should ends up succulent and delicate, falling apart easily.
I first made this a long time ago, pretty much made it up as I went along but then it's not the most adventurous of dishes, tasty as it might be. You can probably use apple sauce in place of the cider, but I've never tried
I'm not a fan of fish at all, so haven't tried this myself. It's gone down well with everyone I've served it to though.
Serve with rice and poppadoms
Gives beautifully soft, flavoursome chicken portions.
It should go without saying, but discard the marinade mix once used as it's been in contact with raw poultry!
A delicious red Thai curry, partially based on a recipe from a book called Accidentally Vegetarian, works well without the chicken if you want to be meat free
Not as nearly as quick to make as taking some frozen ones out of a bag, but you can guarantee the quality of the meat rather than wondering if they contain MRM. Can be frozen for use later too
Personally I've always considered this a side, but purely because of the lack of meat, there's no real reason it can't be served as a main though
Serve with naan bread or rice.
Easily my wife's favourite, I've always preferred Cottage pie to Shepherds pie for some reason. Usually makes enough to serve 4 people, though if you're used to smaller portions than me you may get more out of it.
NB: Most of the alcohol boils off, leaving just the flavour
I like my spicy food to be hot, and this chilli seldom disappoints. Can also be served with grated cheese mixed in, the sauce should be a fiery red when you're done, but be careful as I've permanently stained Tupperware boxes with this stuff!
There's not much that's better than a well-made burger, and with a bit of practice they taste best when you've made your own
This recipe will make 8 medium burgers
