Homemade Chicken Nuggets

Not as nearly as quick to make as taking some frozen ones out of a bag, but you can guarantee the quality of the meat rather than wondering if they contain MRM. Can be frozen for use later too

Ingredients

  • 4 Medium Chicken Breasts
  • 4 slices of white bread
  • 3 Egg Yolks

Method

  1. Leave the bread out on the side for a few hours until it goes quite hard
  2. Hold each slice over a bowl and crumble between your thumb and forefinger to create small breadcrumbs
  3. Lightly beat the egg yolks in a mug for a minute
  4. Chop each of the breasts into nuggets (you should get around 8 per breast)
  5. Sprinkle some of the breadcrumbs onto a plate
  6. Dip a nugget into the egg, coating it well
  7. Roll the nugget around on the breadcrumbs until it's well covered
  8. Put nugget on a plate and repeat for the others
  9. Either freeze immediately, or cook at 180c for 15 minutes (or until the bread browns)
