Obviously perfect with Christmas pudding, but goes really well with chocolate cake too!

Ingredients
- 55g butter
- 55g plain flour
- 1 pint milk
- 55g Caster sugar
- 4 tbsp Brandy (any more than 6 and things go gloopy)
Method
- Melt the butter and stir in the flour
- Cook for 2 minutes before stirring in the milk
- Bring to the boil, stirring constantly, and simmer gently for 10 minutes
- Stir in the brandy and sugar
- Serve immediately
