A fairly simple pasta meal that's a bit different to the usual sauces. Additional mustard can be added for more of a "burn", but the mixture of fennel and lemon works quite well if you don't overpower it.
This simple recipe quickly makes a chinese style stir fry with minimal effort. The chicken chunks are lightly coated in flour so that they absorb some of the juice and take on a good citrus tang
You can serve with rice or noodles - with straight-to-wok noodles you get the advantage of cooking the entire meal in a single pan.
If you need a bit of spice, add a chopped chilli to the ingredient list and add it just after you've finished browning the chicken.
I'm not entirely sure where this recipe originally came from, I found it scrawled down whilst I was sorting out some paperwork - I suspect it's probably based on a recipe in a book somewhere. It makes a Lemon sauce best served on a light meat - like Chicken.
A delicious creamy frozen dessert. Recipe courtesy of my dad, best eaten on it's own but goes well with a chocolate sauce too
Lemon is the best (IMO) but variations of this can be made with strawberry Jam, Lime curd or Nutella
